Story behind the piece:
“...After play and work, we pack our gear and start walking back to the car. I wander through the aspens that were swimming in the lake just a few weeks ago. A rather bizarre feature caught my attention as I walked by. A flat piece of ice hangs onto the aspens, supported by ice pedestals. So, I set my gear down and yell out to my friends at the car I would be a few minutes late. I set myself down on the ice and snow nearby and set up to highlight not only the table and trees but also the contours and curves of the pedestals.”
