Mahogany Residence
This project reimagines a newly built condo into a warm, character rich home for a couple embracing a transition from rural estate living to an urban setting.
The clients envisioned a modern, low maintenance space, yet wished to preserve the comfort and familiarity of their previous home. Our approach balanced refined simplicity with timeless warmth, creating an interior that feels both fresh and deeply personal.
A thoughtfully curated material palette set the foundation for the design, blending clean lines with inviting textures. The open concept layout was reworked to enhance flow and functionality, anchored by custom furniture selections that offer a sophisticated, low-profile aesthetic without compromising the relaxed, sink in comfort the clients value.
A bespoke wood slat feature wall serves as the focal point of the home, introducing an organic architectural element that brings natural texture and visual interest into the urban environment. This feature grounds the space and subtly nods to the clients’ connection to nature.
Throughout the design process, 3D renderings and detailed elevations were used to clearly communicate the vision, fostering confidence and trust while allowing the clients to fully experience the transformation before installation.
The result is a timeless sanctuary that seamlessly bridges modern city living with the warmth and familiarity of home.
